Faithful, Abundant, True
Join us April 6th for our last Bible Study before we break for summer.
God is faithful. His provision is abundant. His promises are true. This is a 7-session Bible study that has 2 sessions each taught by Kay Arthur, Priscilla Shirer and Beth Moore, with the final session including all three.
-
Kay Arthur teaches from basically, the entire book of Hebrews! Hebrews is both an example of God’s faithfulness and a challenge to believers to be faithful in difficult times.
-
Priscilla Shirer teaches from Ephesians 3:20-21 on God’s abundance. A fundamental basis for every believer is the absolute reality that God can do whatever He chooses to do. God’s ability empowers our faithfulness.
-
Beth Moore teaches on the topic of discernment. In these difficult days it is absolutely essential that we learn to trust the Holy Spirit to enable us to determine what is true and what is false.
We look forward to having you join us!
Start the New Year Believing God
Do you take God at His Word, believing what He has told us, or do you just believe in His existence and the salvation He offers?
Based on Isaiah 43:10, Believing God: Experiencing a Fresh Explosion of Faith explores what it means to believe God. Through studying the lives of Abraham, Moses, and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of persons who believed God, Beth encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him.
Join us January 5, 2018 as we embark on 10 life-changing weeks and learn to believe God!
Discerning the Voice of God
We invite you to join us for our next Bible Study, Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer beginning Friday, October 27.
If hearing God has seemed challenging, Priscilla Shirer invites you to explore a more intimate relationship with Him, one that can make hearing Him–His will, His heart, and His voice–your ongoing experience. Discover how you can listen with greater confidence, clarity, and discernment.
This study provides daily opportunities to:
- More deeply understand the Holy Spirit’s role in your life
- Differentiate His voice from imposters’ voices, even from your own
- Glimpse His guidance in your everyday life
- Grow consistently in obedience, surrender, stillness, and humility
Prepare to continually and expectantly hear from Him.
We look forward to walking on this discovery with you as we learn to hear God’s voice in our daily lives.
Join us September 8 as we begin “Believing Jesus”
While we aren’t ready for summer to be over yet, we are excited about seeing each and every one of you when Friday Bible study returns on September 8! We can’t wait to catch up and begin a journey through the book of Acts with Lisa Harper in her study, Believing Jesus. Be inspired, like we were, by the excerpt about the study below:
What does it mean to believe Jesus? Not just believe in Jesus, but actually believe what He said—and shape our lives around that truth? How would that affect the choices we make? The way we see the world? The way we conduct ourselves with other Christians?
In this eight-session video Bible study, Lisa Harper answers these questions by looking at the lives of the believers in Acts and how Jesus’ command to spread the gospel forever shaped their lives. You will hear how Peter turned tables on his Benedict-Arnold behavior and became a church-building saint when the power of the Holy Spirit came over him. How the first believers were so gifted at giving they made Santa look bush league. How it cost Stephen and other early believers their very lives to follow Christ. And how Paul’s case proves God’s grace can change the worst of sinners, making us willing to have our lives interrupted by God and boldly share the gospel to the world.
Today, we are faced with the same decisions the early church faced. Will we, like them, truly believe the words of Jesus and allow them to transform every part of our lives?
The transformation begins on September 8…Join Us!
